Scherma Altotevere

Scherma Altotevere Fencing and Music ASD is an amateur fencing association based in San Giustino, Italy, and affiliated with the Italian Fencing Federation. The club welcomes participants of all ages, introducing children aged six to seven to fencing through playful activities, offering pre-competitive training for ages eight and nine, and providing competitive fencing from age ten onward. Its programs combine instruction and athletic development, with coaches Valeria Carlini and Roberto Di Matteo supporting athletes across local clubs and helping them progress to regional and national competitions.

The association shares news about its teams, tournaments, events, and community activities, and provides an online form for prospective members to register. It also promotes athlete welfare through an organizational safeguarding model designed to prevent abuse, violence, and discrimination and protect members’ physical and moral wellbeing. New participants are asked to provide the appropriate medical fitness certification, depending on whether they take part in competitive sport
