Schermabrescia

SchermaBrescia is a fencing club founded in 1987 and recognized as a training center by the Italian Fencing Federation. Based in Brescia, the club offers instruction for participants of different ages and experience levels, from playful introductory sessions for children aged three to five to beginner classes, youth competitive programs, and courses for adults aged 15 and over. Training includes foil and epee, with schedules and practice frequency tailored to each group. Members can also book private lessons with the club’s coaches and access personal training.

The club’s facility on Via Villa Glori features ten fixed electric pistes, a weight-training room, changing rooms with showers, and a dedicated space for children’s fencing activities. Its coaching team includes experienced fencing masters and athletic preparation specialists. Andrea Cassarà, an Olympic medal-winning foil fencer, serves as head coach and technical director. SchermaBrescia provides a free trial period for new participants, helping prospective fencers explore the sport and meet the club before enrolling.
