Schlangenfarm in Schladen

Schlangenfarm Schladen is a privately operated animal attraction in Schladen, Germany, presenting visitors with the diverse world of snakes and other reptiles. Described as Europe’s largest private snake farm, it is home to snakes, lizards, turtles, spiders, scorpions, centipedes, fish and a crocodile. Visitors can explore the animals and attend hourly interactive talks and demonstrations about snakes. During winter, demonstrations depend on weather conditions to protect the animals’ health.

The farm welcomes individuals and families, with admission options for adults, children, families, seniors and people with disabilities. Schools and kindergartens can arrange special visits, including outdoor activities with non-venomous native snakes for biology lessons. The farm also offers children’s birthday visits for groups of at least eight children accompanied by two adults. By request, visitors can join training in handling venomous animals or seek support with overcoming fear of them.
