Schlimbach Ranch

Schlimbach Ranch Blansingen is an agricultural operation and pedagogical riding school located in Blansingen, Efringen-Kirchen, Germany. Since January 1, 2024, the farm inherited from the founder’s grandmother has continued under the Schlimbach Ranch name, with a modernized structure and renewed quality-management standards. Its agricultural activities include arable farming, vineyards and other crops, alongside horse-based educational programs.

The ranch offers age-appropriate sessions that encourage attentive, responsible interaction with horses. Ranch-Kids sessions welcome children aged 6 to 13 in pairs, with weekly or fortnightly options. Families with children from around age three can enjoy shared horse time, while teenagers and adults can learn about horses in individual sessions. Custom activities are also available. Sessions last approximately 90 minutes, and previous experience is not required.

Course topics include horse communication and care, handling, leading, saddling, groundwork, equine needs and living conditions, and introductory riding skills. The programs are led by a licensed specialist in horse-assisted pedagogy who is also an ILP coach.
