Schlittschuh Arena Gurmels

Schlittschuh Arena Gurmels is a welcoming sports and community venue in Gurmels, Switzerland, offering activities for children, families, schools, clubs and businesses. Its year-round synthetic skating surface allows visitors to skate and train in all weather, without the water or electricity required by conventional ice rinks. Guests can enjoy recreational skating, hockey, ice-stock sport and organized training, with options for beginners and experienced skaters alike.

The arena also hosts birthdays, company gatherings, club outings and other private events. Visitors can book the skating surface and the cosy “Le Chalet” independently of regular opening hours. The chalet provides a relaxed place to gather, with food options for events including fondue, raclette, grilled meals and Thai menus, as well as hot and cold drinks and snacks during normal opening hours. Skate rental, rental with Sharkblades and skate sharpening are available. Schlittschuh Arena Gurmels combines sport, hospitality and social occasions in an accessible setting, while its synthetic surface supports a lower-resource alternative to a traditional ice rink.
