Schloss Horneburg

Jugendhilfe Schloss Horneburg is a child and youth welfare organisation in Datteln, Germany, operated by Caritasverband für die Diözese Münster e.V. Its educational and psychological approach places the family at the centre of each child’s or young person’s support, with the aim of strengthening family relationships and making time in care as short as possible while meeting individual needs.

The organisation offers several forms of assistance, including a day group, five-day residential groups, seven-day residential care, a diagnostic class and outpatient services. Its support encompasses structured daily routines, schooling and education, leisure activities, work with parents or guardians, and cooperation with other partners. Care planning is tailored to individual circumstances, and the organisation also provides information about child protection, safeguarding procedures and ways to raise concerns.

Schloss Horneburg’s multidisciplinary staff work to build professional, supportive relationships and help children and young people in everyday and school life. The organisation also offers guidance and support for families, alongside opportunities for recreation and participation in daily life.
