Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron is a historic hotel and event venue set beside a tranquil pond in Salzburg, Austria, close to the city and the Alps. The estate combines the character of a historic Rococo palace with the contemporary comfort of the adjoining Meierhof. Guests can choose from twelve individually designed suites in the castle and 55 renovated modern rooms in the Meierhof, with views of the gardens, pond or city. The hotel also offers breakfast in the Marble Hall and a café and bar serving coffee, aperitifs and food.

Visitors can book guided tours of the castle’s historic rooms and explore its connection to Max Reinhardt and The Sound of Music, whose film scenes were shot in the gardens and by the pond. Schloss Leopoldskron hosts weddings, private celebrations, company events and meetings for up to 130 participants. Ceremony and reception settings include the lakeside terrace, the Max Reinhardt Library and the Marble Hall. The estate is also home to Salzburg Global, a nonprofit organization dedicated to peace and dialogue.
