Mechanische Schmiede Zwissler is a family-run smithy in Rorschach, Switzerland, serving the Eastern Switzerland region since 1929. Now led by Daniel Zwissler, the business combines traditional craftsmanship with modern metalworking and practical, personal advice. Its services bring together three areas of expertise: artistic metalwork, farriery, and locksmithing and metal construction.

The workshop creates custom-made railings, gates, fences, and individual forged pieces, and restores historic ironwork with attention to materials, proportions, and setting. Its farriery services include professional horse shoeing and hoof care, with advice on both shod and barefoot approaches. For private clients, builders, architects, and businesses, the company also produces tailored metal structures and carries out repairs and custom fabrication, prioritising function, durability, and design.
