Scholar Foundation

The Scholar Foundation is a Czech charitable foundation established by David Klein in 2017 to provide financial support for Czech students pursuing studies at prestigious universities abroad. Its scholarship program is intended for students seeking admission to postgraduate master’s or PhD programs, as well as those planning to study abroad through inter-university agreements. The foundation has a particular interest in students in economics, finance, and social sciences, including applicants to universities in Europe and destinations beyond Europe.

Applicants must be Czech citizens or hold permanent residence in the Czech Republic, and must have successfully passed the admissions process at their chosen university. The selection application requires a résumé, a motivation letter, and confirmation of university admission. Through its support, the foundation aims to encourage critical thinking, confidence, and the development of civil society, while helping graduates grow personally and professionally and represent the Czech Republic internationally. Its scholarship program for the 2026/27 academic year will not open for operational reasons; no selection process is currently underway.
