Scholar Green

Scholar Green provides one-on-one and small-group maths tutoring for students in Years 5 to 12 and Senior SACE across South Australia. Founded by Duy Nguyen, the Adelaide-based service has supported students since 2009, offering sessions in person at its Woodville Gardens classroom or online. Its teaching approach begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify secure knowledge and learning gaps, including foundational concepts that may have been missed years earlier.

Each student then receives an individual mastery plan aligned with their curriculum, goals and timeline. Tutoring focuses on understanding and explaining methods, developing effective study habits, and building confidence and independent thinking—not simply completing more practice questions or rushing through the syllabus. Sessions are available one-on-one or in groups of up to four, with regular updates for students and families and adjustments to the plan as progress develops.

Scholar Green supports Years 5 to 10 foundations and SACE Stage 1 and 2 subjects, including Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, General Mathematics and Essential Mathematics
