Scholarship

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) serves as a comprehensive digital platform managed by the Government of India under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. It streamlines the scholarship application process for students, facilitating the submission, processing, and disbursement of various scholarship schemes offered by both the central and state governments.

Designed as part of the National e-Governance Plan, NSP aims to provide a transparent, responsive, and efficient application system. Students can access all necessary information regarding scholarships in one place, apply through a single integrated application, and receive suggestions for schemes they qualify for. The platform promotes transparency by reducing the chances of duplicate applications and ensures timely disbursement of funds directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts, minimizing potential leakages.

In addition to assisting students, NSP caters to educational institutions and government officials with tools for registration, monitoring, and support. Its mission is to create a harmonized scholarship processing system that benefits students across India, ensuring a smooth and accountable experience.
