School Bus is a school transportation company serving families in Rio de Janeiro since 1993. With more than 30 years of experience, it operates its own fleet and is registered with the city and accredited by the SMTR. The company transports more than 130 students each day, with routes serving schools and neighborhoods including Tijuca, Zona Sul, São Conrado, and Barra da Tijuca; families can ask about availability for other schools and areas.
Its service includes pickup and drop-off at the child’s home and supervised handover inside the school. Vans have identification, air conditioning, satellite tracking, and mandatory seat-belt use. Routes are organized by area to limit time spent travelling. School Bus also provides a reserve van for breakdowns or preventive maintenance. Its vehicles undergo three annual inspections, are approved by INMETRO, and carry comprehensive and passenger insurance.
Families arrange service through a signed contract, and monthly payments are made through a bank rather than in the vans. Pricing depends on the school, address, and schedule.
