About Schoolgirl Essentials
Schoolgirl Essentials (SGE) is a Tanzanian-based non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for menstrual, sexual, reproductive health, and character education for adolescents in rural primary and secondary schools. SGE recognizes the emotional needs of young girls at all stages of school life and aims to address gender-specific barriers that hinder their full potential in health and well-being.
