Schoolwise

Schoolwise is a school communication service built by a Greenwich parent to help families stay informed without searching through crowded inboxes. It automatically reads and indexes school emails and newsletters, bringing important information together in personalized family briefs, weekly digests, and urgent alerts. Parents can also ask questions in everyday language, such as when picture day is or what time dismissal begins, and receive quick answers grounded in school communications.

Available free to parents, Schoolwise works in a browser and does not require an app or credit card. Families can preview a sample brief, scan a school QR code, and connect their school email to receive information tailored to their child’s class and grade. The service focuses exclusively on school-related communications and does not provide general answers or homework help. Schoolwise is currently live at 19 schools and programs in Greenwich, Connecticut, including public schools, preschools, after-school programs, and local YMCA and YWCA offerings. It emphasizes privacy, stating that it does not sell user information or use it for advertising.
