The "Wolontariat Schroniska dla Psów w Nowodworze" is a dedicated animal welfare organization located in Nowodwór, Lublin Voivodeship, focused on rescuing and providing shelter for homeless dogs. Their mission encompasses not only the care of these animals but also facilitating adoptions and promoting responsible ownership through valuable advice for current and prospective pet owners.
The shelter offers a range of services including a searchable database for dogs available for adoption, urgent cases that require immediate rehoming, and updates on adopted pets. Volunteer opportunities abound, with members encouraged to participate in events such as the popular Saturday dog walks, fostering initiatives, and financial support.
To sustain their operations, the organization actively seeks donations to cover veterinary care and maintenance costs for the animals.
