Schützengesellschaft Wolfsburg e.V. is a shooting-sports club with more than 100 years of tradition and the organizer of Wolfsburg’s annual Schützen- und Volksfest. Now in its 74th year, the festival is described as the largest of its kind between the Harz and Heide regions. It takes place at the Allerpark fairground during the week of Ascension and welcomes around 400,000 visitors and guests each year.

Working with fairground operators, the society brings together attractions and entertainment for families, including rides and other experiences offering fun and thrills. With support from its partners, it also presents live concerts and a varied programme in the festival tent. The organization provides visitor information, press information and details for fairground operators, and offers an online shop through its website. The 2026 festival is scheduled to run from May 8 to May 17, with a new festival token announced for visitors. Through its sporting heritage and major public event, Schützengesellschaft Wolfsburg e.V. serves both its club community and the wider region.
