Schützengau Rhön-Saale

Schützengau Rhön-Saale is a regional shooting-sports association bringing together 26 shooting clubs and offering members information, activities, and competitions across a range of disciplines. These include archery, blowgun shooting, and small- and large-calibre firearms. The association’s website serves as a central resource for its clubs and participants, sharing news and updates from the German Shooting Federation (DSB), the Bavarian Sports Shooting Federation (BSSB), and the Lower Franconia shooting district.

Its services and resources include a calendar of events, competition announcements, regulations, forms, training information, and results from district championships and league competitions. Members can also find information on air and small-calibre events, blowgun and lever-action rifle leagues, and the administration and reporting of league results. The association supports youth activities and recognizes sporting achievements through its youth programmes, awards, and royal titles, including the Gau king and Robin Hood competitions. It also publishes photographs and reports, provides information about its clubs and governing body, and shares updates on relevant firearms regulations.
