Schützenverein Lieberhausen

Schützenverein Lieberhausen e.V. 1732 is a community-based association in Lieberhausen, in the Oberbergisches region of Germany. Rooted in local traditions that reach back at least to the early eighteenth century, the club traces its documented history to a 1732 account of the village’s bird-shooting celebration. It combines respect for its heritage with an active, welcoming approach to community life, encouraging members and newcomers to contribute ideas and take part.

The association brings people together through its Schützenfest, shooting sports, company groups and events throughout the year. Its activities include a shooting group, a fanfare corps and a darts group, alongside the Königsclub groups of Lieberhausen and Obergemeinde. The club also recognizes former monarchs, emperors, princes and children’s kings as part of its longstanding traditions. Visitors can learn about its history, leadership, groups and upcoming dates through the club’s website.
