SchützenvereinLienen

Schützenverein Lienen is a local marksmen’s association based in Lienen, Germany, with a history dating to 1893. The club brings members together through traditional shooting activities, community events, and an annual Schützenfest. Its calendar includes meetings, royal shooting competitions, visits to neighboring festivals, a traditional tree-planting event, a Boßeltour, and participation in Volkstrauertag. The 2026 Schützenfest in Lienen is scheduled for July 3–5.

The association welcomes new members, who can join by completing and submitting a membership form. Its shooting group is open to women and men and meets every two weeks on Thursdays at Aldruper Diele on Meckelweger Straße. The club is working toward a long-term alternative after losing access to its former shooting range. In operation from 1959, the range hosted competitions, gatherings, and the annual king’s shooting. It featured a 50-meter lane for small-bore shooting, with air-rifle shooting also available. Schützenverein Lienen shares news and event information through its website and social media.
