Schützenverein Löwensen

Schützenverein Löwensen von 1849 e. V. is a community-based shooting club dedicated to promoting shooting sports and preserving local heritage.

As a member of the German Shooting Federation, the club brings together members, neighboring associations, and residents through sporting activities and social events. Its program includes regular training, competitions, club and city-level shooting championships, and opportunities for adults and young people to take part. The club’s modern electronic shooting range supports competitions and community events, while light-point shooting introduces children from age six to the sport in an age-appropriate way.

Activities also include an annual king’s shooting contest, a traditional shooting festival, and special events such as a Halloween prize shoot. The Schützenhaus serves as a gathering place for celebrations, meetings, and village occasions, including events that welcome non-members. The club shares schedules, news, photographs, and contact information through its website, and acknowledges the support of volunteers, sponsors, and local partners.

Combining sporting tradition with community involvement, Schützenverein Löwensen offers residents a place to participate, connect, and contribute to village life
