Schützenverein Rendsburg

Schützenverein Rendsburg e.V. von 1877 is a long-established shooting club in Rendsburg, describing itself as the city’s oldest registered association and highlighting a tradition of more than 140 years. The club welcomes people of different ages and offers recreational and competitive shooting, with opportunities to train toward club, district, state, and German championships.

Its disciplines include air rifle and air pistol at 10 metres, small-bore rifle at 50 and 100 metres, sport archery at various distances, and light-point shooting. Training sessions are held on Thursday and Saturday for rifle, pistol, and light-point disciplines, and on Wednesday and Sunday for archery.

The club provides age-appropriate introductory options for children and young people, subject to the stated supervision and consent requirements. Children under 12 can try light-point shooting, while older participants may use air guns or, where applicable, small-bore firearms under the club’s safety conditions. Prospective members can attend a free, non-binding four-week trial.
