Die Schwabanesen e. V. is Schwabach’s carnival society and the city’s only carnival club.
The organization brings the local Fasching tradition to life through public celebrations, performances and community activities, including the Schwabach Carnival Parade, formal carnival sessions and a Rose Monday Ball. Its program also features seasonal events such as the Rathaussturm, an opening celebration, the ceremonial installation of the carnival prince and princess, and family-friendly sessions. A major part of the society is its dance program: its performers take part in competitive carnival dance, and the club hosts dance tournaments, including events for youth and junior dancers.
The Schwabanesen also supports a range of participating groups and roles, with sections for dancers, trainers, the Elferrat, Hexenweiber, photography and technology, and the Senat. Through its events and activities, the society offers residents and visitors opportunities to enjoy carnival traditions and invites people to become members and help shape Schwabach’s festive season. Its website provides event information, ticket sales, news, photos, and details about the club and its activities
