Run by volunteer pond stewards of Cologne’s municipal drainage authority, the group regularly visits the Lindenthal park ponds, from Aachener Weiher to Decksteiner Weiher, to observe wildlife, report problems and help keep shared spaces clean. Working with relevant city departments, the volunteers support practical improvements such as duckling ramps, nesting shelters and temporary screening near breeding sites.
