Schwarz Barn

Schwarz Barn is a privately owned and operated wedding venue in Highland, Illinois, about 45 minutes east of St. Louis, Missouri. Set on 53 acres beside a five-acre lake, the historic barn offers couples a scenic setting for ceremonies and receptions. First hosting weddings in 2014, the venue combines the character of a barn built in 1934 with amenities designed for celebrations.

Couples can choose the rustic loft, featuring original exposed beams, chandeliers made from old hay forks, and seating for ceremonies with 200 white folding chairs. Outdoor ceremony and gathering areas include lakeside views, a custom-built dock, and an arbor. The reception space has large glass garage doors and windows, while an overflow room provides additional space for food and drinks. Dedicated bride and groom dressing rooms support preparations on the wedding day.
