Schwimmschule Trentmann

Schwimmschule Trentmann is a family-focused swim school in Bad Iburg, run by Jens and Ina Trentmann. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, Jens is joined by Ina, a trained swimming instructor. The school offers swimming courses for babies and children, providing individualized instruction in a calm setting. Baby swimming courses begin monthly and are suitable from 3.5 months of age; courses run for 12 weeks, with follow-on options available.

Children learn at their own pace, without a fixed number of lessons or pressure to achieve quickly. Instructors encourage confidence, build on each child’s strengths, and work on areas needing development. Small beginner groups are limited to eight children, with four children per instructor and consistent teaching staff. Lessons take place in a 32°C pool without public bathers. The school also offers preparation for and assessment of the Seepferdchen and Seeräuber swimming badges, as well as preparation for Bronze. Families can manage appointments and report absences through the school’s app, with a replacement lesson guaranteed for timely cancellations.
