Schwimmverein Haren

Schwimmverein Haren e.V. is a swimming club founded in 1982 and registered with the Lower Saxony Swimming Association. Based in Haren, the club welcomes members of different ages and abilities, offering a broad program that combines recreational swimming, training, competition, and youth activities.

Its swimming provision includes water familiarization, beginner lessons for children, a teen group, adult swimming, and aqua fitness and water gymnastics. The club also supports competitive swimming, with training for several teams and participation in meets and championships. Recent reports highlight swimmers’ achievements across regional competitions, including podium finishes, medals, and personal bests. The club also offers extracurricular activities for young people, helping make membership about community as well as sport.

Intensive swimming courses are listed among its offerings, though the club currently says these courses are unavailable and will post updates when they return. Prospective members can register online, and a club shop sells clothing and other equipment for training, competition, and leisure.
