Gia by Scienza is an AI co-clinician designed to help health plans, ACOs, health systems and care organizations support older adults between appointments. Through phone and video check-ins, Gia gathers information about members’ cognitive, behavioral and physical health, then uses clinical records, speech biomarkers and optional smartwatch data to identify people who may need attention. Its predictive tools are intended to flag possible decline or fall risk, while clinicians review the results and decide what action to take; Gia provides options, not orders.

The platform integrates with systems including Epic and PointClickCare, can process faxed records for staff confirmation, and writes approved results back to the chosen EHR. Care teams can use it for post-discharge follow-up, cognitive screening, neurology video assessments, and home-visit documentation, including structured SOAP notes and suggested billing codes. Members can receive plain-language results through the Ask Gia app, with sharing controlled by their care team. Gia also supports caregiver check-ins and data from Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch devices.
