SCM Ecotrade

SCM Ecotrade is a German company focused on trading sustainable, recyclable disposable products as alternatives to single-use plastics. Drawing on experience and connections in the paper, packaging and recycling industries, the company aims to reduce plastic waste and microplastic pollution by bringing practical paper- and cardboard-based solutions into everyday use.

Its main offering is a range of biodegradable dog waste bags made from paper, paired with dispensers and collection systems. Products include the Solo dispenser, designed for mounting on streetlights, and a Duo system that combines a dispenser with a lidded waste bin and concrete base. The company also offers complete dog waste stations, with options such as galvanized, powder-coated steel and a sand anchor. Bag packs are available in several sizes, from 30 to 720 bags.

SCM Ecotrade states that the bags are fully biodegradable and that the cardboard scoop uses 75% recycled material. It serves as the official distributor in Germany for these products and can provide rental or leasing pricing on request.
