Scooter Club Algemesí is a nonprofit sports association and canoeing school based at Paratge La Xopera, beside the Xúquer River in Algemesí, Valencia. Its riverside clubhouse stores the club’s canoes and provides a starting point for activities on the water. The school welcomes children from age eight and offers pathways from beginner instruction to skills development and competition, so participants can progress according to their experience and interests.
Adults can also join sessions on Saturday mornings, while the club’s competitive team takes part in regattas each weekend. The club has a six-person board and qualified instructors, and membership fees support equipment such as canoes and paddles, federation licences, and travel to competitions. Scooter Club Algemesí also organizes the Municipal Canoeing School with Algemesí Town Council, offering beginner groups for children born between 2011 and 2018.
Prospective members and families can contact the club to ask about trial sessions, age groups, fees, schedules, and enrollment
