About SCOPE Maastricht
SCOPE Maastricht is the official study association of the School of Business and Economics and is the second largest study association in Europe, boasting over 5000 members. The association's main focus is to bridge the gap between business, academia, social life, and the students of the School of Business and Economics. SCOPE strives to enrich student life both personally and professionally through a wide range of events and trips.
In terms of career development, SCOPE acts as a strong intermediary between students and potential employers, facilitating connections through extensive collaborations with international and multinational enterprises. They provide various career events and establish an exclusive recruitment platform for the benefit of all parties involved. To further develop the association, SCOPE has introduced the Development pillar, which hosts events and trips for students before and after graduation.
This pillar encompasses diverse committees, including the Sustainability committee, IT committee, Marketing Graphic Design committee, and more. Academically, SCOPE aims to support students in all study fields by offering career orientation and exposure to relevant topics both within and outside of their respective study programs. As the largest study association in Maastricht, SCOPE is also deeply involved in the social aspect of student life.
They host a multitude of events throughout the year, ranging from complex and boat parties to spring break and ski trips. To be a part of SCOPE and enjoy its benefits and events, students can become a passive member. For those looking for a more active role, there is an opportunity to become one of the 150 active members and participate in organizing SCOPE's parties, events, and trips.
Additionally, students with the skills and ambition to manage an association of SCOPE's size can apply to be a full-time board member, gaining valuable opportunities for skill development and event organization. Overall, SCOPE Maastricht offers a comprehensive platform for students to enhance their academic, professional, and social lives, all while fostering connections with businesses and creating unforgettable experiences
