Sarah Cobbett Occupational Therapy

Sarah Cobbett Occupational Therapy is a registered allied health service based on the Gold Coast, providing mobile occupational therapy across metropolitan and regional South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Led by director and senior occupational therapist Sarah Cobbett, the service offers personalised, holistic support to help people improve independence, safety and quality of life at home and in the community.

The team works with older people, NDIS participants, veterans and people recovering at home. Services include occupational therapy assessments, assistive technology prescriptions, home modification recommendations and referrals. Support may address daily living skills, mobility, social participation and personal goals, with tailored strategies for ageing, disability, service-related or chronic conditions.

Care is delivered in clients’ homes, beginning with a phone consultation and an in-home assessment. Occupational therapists consider each person’s abilities, challenges and goals, then provide recommendations and, where appropriate, further intervention such as equipment trials or home modifications. The practice also works with care providers and coordinators supporting clients through aged care, NDIS and DVA funding.
