Scott Wolfe

Dr. Scott Wolfe is an upper extremity surgeon serving patients in Stamford, Connecticut, and New York City. His practice focuses on orthopedic conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, fingers, and nerves, with care that includes evaluation and surgery for complex problems. Areas of expertise include scaphoid and other wrist fractures, distal radius fractures, non-unions, scapholunate instability, Dupuytren’s disease, nerve repair and reconstruction, and Parsonage-Turner syndrome. Dr. Wolfe also offers wrist replacement, including the KinematX Total Wrist, which received FDA clearance in 2020 and was developed with colleague Dr. Trey Crisco.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Wolfe is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Cornell Medical School and an educator of hand surgeons. He has served as editor-in-chief of Green’s Operative Hand Surgery and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers. His research addresses wrist motion and minimally invasive surgery. The practice provides appointment scheduling and patient support through its office, with care associated with Hospital for Special Surgery.
