ScoutBase is an independent reference and database for international football, bringing together information on players, clubs, nations and national-team eligibility. Its database covers more than 78,000 players, 211 nations and nearly 27,000 clubs, helping users explore connections that extend beyond a player’s current national team.

The site focuses on eligibility pathways and potential national-team switches, highlighting players who are reportedly considering, expected to make or have been called up for a change of association. Visitors can browse watchlists, recent switches, free agents, eligible players by nation or league, and curated tags on topics such as uncapped players and dual-national eligibility. Search tools support discovery across players, clubs and national teams, while dedicated sections organize club, nation and eligibility information.

ScoutBase also publishes notes and updates about international football, invites users to suggest players, and welcomes corrections and eligibility updates. It describes its player data as informational and compiled from public sources, and states that it is not affiliated with FIFA, UEFA, CONMEBOL or any football governing body.
