Scoutseed

Scout Seed Co. is a farmer-founded seed supplier serving agricultural communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Run by people with hands-on farming experience, the company focuses on helping farmers improve the health and productivity of their land while managing risk and maximizing returns. Its team draws on decades of combined experience in the Southeast and tests seed recommendations and planting techniques through practical, on-farm research.

Scout Seed Co. specializes in corn, soybean, and cover crop seeds, emphasizing reliable performance and strong yields. Rather than offering a broad range of agricultural retail services, it concentrates on seed and cover crop expertise. Its services include detailed zone creation and management, precision soil sampling, variable rate seeding, and field trial research. The team also offers guidance on cover crop selection and planting techniques, with support tailored to each farm. Customers can contact Scout Seed Co. to discuss questions, arrange a farm visit, or learn more about its services.
