Segelclub Oberer Zürichsee (SCOZ) is a sailing club based on the upper part of Lake Zurich. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2015, the club has 130 members and 78 boats listed in its register. Its clubhouse is located at the Kiebitz marina in Nuolen. SCOZ is affiliated with Swiss Sailing, the Zurich Lake Sailing Association and the Sports Association of the Canton of Schwyz.
The club supports both recreational and competitive sailing. Many members enjoy touring on the lake, while junior, young adult and older sailors also take part in regattas. For children aged eight and above, SCOZ offers sailing courses, with some equipment provided. Members and visitors can find information about the club’s activities, events and regattas, as well as race results, photographs, videos and news. The calendar includes sailing sessions, social gatherings and club meetings. Regatta registration is available through Manage2Sail, and the club also promotes activities such as its Race Week, winter series and children’s sailing events.
