Scuola Biodanza Sicilia

The School of Biodanza of Sicily, part of the Rolando Toro System (SRT) and IBF Network, is an authorized training school dedicated to teaching Biodanza and preparing professional facilitators. Its approach follows the unified training programme used by IBF schools worldwide and is based on the system developed by Rolando Toro Araneda. The school presents Biodanza as a practice for reconnecting with the body, nurturing affectivity, developing human qualities and integrating personal growth with social connection.

Its main offering is professional training, supported by courses, workshops and educational events. Training sessions and stages take place in a historic eighteenth-century villa in Tremestieri Etneo, near Mount Etna. The school is directed by Maria Bianca Di Stefano and Patrizia Barassi, who also discuss Biodanza’s benefits and social value. As part of the wider IBF Italia network, the school contributes to promoting Biodanza in social and institutional settings and to offering methods suited to different age groups. Its work emphasizes a biocentric perspective, solidarity, collective exchange and affective coherence.
