GOALS & OBJECTIVES (A Culture of Connection Underlies all Actions) * Ethics: SCV-CAMFT educates and inspires the membership to work according to the highest standards of the profession. * Activities/Programs: SCV-CAMFT provides activities that meet chapter members’ needs for promoting professionalism, connection, training and news to keep members current. * Visibility: SCV-CAMFT educates and informs the public of the value of marriage and family therapy. * Outreach and Support: SCV-CAMFT supports healthy relationships within its community through its outreach activities and wellness functions. * Fiscal management: SCV-CAMFT provides sufficient financial resources and sound fiscal management to ensure full funding of the chapter’s planned activities and programs. * Leadership: SCV-CAMFT is led by ethical, dedicated and competent individuals who pass on the inner-workings of the chapter to the next incoming board.

About SCV-CAMFT
The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of CAMFT, or SCV-CAMFT, is a professional organization comprised of licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals, specifically marriage and family therapists. As the local chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), SCV-CAMFT aims to promote the highest standards of mental health care in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. With nearly 500 members, our chapter consists of skilled and diverse therapists who provide counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Each member has either obtained or is pursuing a master's degree in counseling, ensuring a high level of expertise and dedication to their craft. As licensed MFTs, our members have completed rigorous training and are uniquely equipped to address issues related to families and relationships. They are not only valuable in clinical settings, but also in schools, corporations, and hospitals.
