The SDG Center for Africa is an international organization that is dedicated to supporting governments, civil society, businesses, and academic institutions in Africa to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Established in July 2016, the Center acts as a platform to bring together people, ideas, and innovation to collectively work towards a more sustainable future for Africa. As a home-grown African institution, the Center aims to champion the implementation of the SDGs in line with the principles of the African Union's 2063 Agenda.

With a focus on providing technical support and neutral advice, the Center works with national governments, the private sector, civil society, and academic institutions to accelerate the implementation of the SDG agenda across Africa. The Center is governed by a Board of Directors, which includes influential figures such as President Kagame of Rwanda and Mr. Aliko Dangote, CEO of Dangote Group.

Their expertise helps guide the Center in its mission to promote partnerships, transparency, accountability, and social inclusion in achieving sustainable development in Africa.
