About SDG Relief Fund
The Sustainable Development Goals Fund (SDG Fund) is an international multi-donor and multi-agency development mechanism established in 2014 by the United Nations. The SDG Fund aims to support sustainable development activities through integrated joint programs that bring together UN agencies, national governments, academia, civil society, and businesses. With an initial contribution from the government of Spain, the SDG Fund operates in 23 countries, impacting the lives of over 5.
4 million individuals. Through public-private partnerships, the SDG Fund collaborates with 16 UN entities and numerous national counterparts to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and address various SDGs. By mobilizing matching funds, the SDG Fund ensures financial transparency and enhances program impact.
The inclusion of a Private Sector Advisory Group underscores the commitment to fostering partnerships across industries globally to drive progress towards sustainable development goals
