SDlive

SDlive is a long-running online destination for photography and community discussion, featuring images of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and Barnaul. The site opened in May 2004 and brings together local photography, regional scenery, and an open forum.

Its Akademgorodok gallery presents the Novosibirsk science district, its picturesque surroundings, nature, and local residents through photographs by the KMD studio photographers. Visitors can explore the area’s landscapes and everyday life in a collection focused on the character of the Akademgorodok community.

SDlive also offers a photo gallery devoted to Barnaul, the capital of Altai Krai. Set on the Ob River, the city is shown as both historic and modern, with architecture that reflects a noticeable St Petersburg influence.

Beyond its galleries, the site hosts a forum that welcomes new participants to join conversations. Together, these features make SDlive a place to view regional photography, discover aspects of two Siberian cities, and connect with others. Its stated scope includes photographs, the forum, and assorted other content.
