Ontario Minor Hockey

Strathroy Minor Hockey Association (SDMHA) is a community hockey organization serving players across a wide range of age groups, from U5 through U21. Its website provides families with information about registration, divisions, team finding, season details, and financial subsidy programs. The association supports participation in local hockey, including the Shamrock Hockey League and Lambton Middlesex Local League, and shares schedules, scores, tournament information, and team updates.

SDMHA also offers development opportunities, including goalie clinics, team development resources, and age-specific player pathways. Coaches, bench staff, trainers, managers, and volunteers can access requirements, educational resources, forms, and guidance for their roles. Safety and responsible participation are prominent parts of the organization’s work, with resources covering concussion awareness, return to play, dressing-room policies, injury reporting, emergency planning, and Safe Sport.

The association organizes the John Henry Memorial Tournament and promotes volunteer opportunities throughout the season. It also recognizes players, teams, coaches, and community contributors through annual awards.
