Sdružení Krajina

Sdružení Krajina is a nature conservation association focused on caring for landscapes and supporting biodiversity. Its work combines practical habitat management with environmental education and opportunities for the public to get involved. The association’s activities include mowing grasslands, cutting back unwanted vegetation, disturbing dense turf, grazing, creating pools and small channels, planting trees, producing regional seed, and providing specialist services.

Mowing wet, flower-rich meadows is one of its main areas of work. In cooperation with local farmers, the association also uses grazing to maintain selected meadows. Its projects include the planned Nad Kamenným rybníkem urban nature reserve, intended to benefit wildlife while offering environmental learning, walks, and recreation for children and the wider public.

Sdružení Krajina organizes volunteer events, such as mowing and raking an old cherry orchard, as well as nature walks. Its website shares project updates, information about local sites, and photo galleries. People can support the association through financial contributions or volunteering, helping sustain its conservation and educational activities.
