The SDSU Foundation, founded in 1946, is a transformative force that is dedicated to changing lives through the culture of giving. As an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the SDSU Foundation connects passionate supporters of South Dakota State University (SDSU) with opportunities to make a significant impact through their generous donations. With a 16-member Board of Governors and a 100+-member Council of Trustees, the Foundation manages over $280 million in total assets.
It serves as SDSU’s largest private funding resource, ensuring that each gift directly benefits the university and helps make education more affordable for students.
