About Sea Teach
Sea Teach | Santañy is a social enterprise specializing in the Maritime and Youth sectors. Established in 1999 by Michael John and Silja Teege, Sea Teach operates from its fully equipped premises in the Marina of Cala D'or, Mallorca. The team at Sea Teach is driven by a passion for improving education and work conditions in the maritime sector, for disadvantaged youth, and in the tourism industry.
With the support of EU funding and their European partners, Sea Teach has developed innovative education systems and tools that aid in qualification recognition, mobility, and learning. Sea Teach is a recognized training center for motorcruising and powerboating, offering specialized Sportbootführerschein Kurse in small groups and VIP courses. In addition, Sea Teach offers courses for German sport boat licenses, participates in various EU-funded projects related to sea and coastal tourism, leads environmental actions to remove plastics from the seas, and collaborates with inclusion centers to provide job training and mentoring in the nautical sector.
