The U. S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (Sea Cadets) is a highly esteemed youth development program supported by the U.
S. Navy and U. S.
Coast Guard. Our mission is to provide young Americans, aged 10 to 18, with invaluable skills, knowledge, and confidence through a wide range of training opportunities. Sea Cadets wear uniforms and work in a disciplined environment, embodying the core values of honor, respect, commitment, and service.
With access to naval bases and military installations, our cadets engage in hands-on learning and teamwork across various fields such as seamanship, sailing, aviation, security, robotics, medical, STEM, SCUBA, submarines, photography, culinary, special forces training, and even an International Exchange Program. Our program empowers cadets to chart their own path to success, fostering leadership qualities and self-discipline. While we instill an appreciation for the sea services and military life, there is no obligation to join the military.
However, many former cadets choose to enlist or pursue service academies or ROTC. Join the U. S.
