Sea Flea Charters

Sea Flea Charters is a Lake Michigan fishing charter based in Grand Haven, Michigan, offering guided salmon and trout trips aboard the Sea Flea. The company aims to make each outing a memorable outdoor experience for families and friends, with a crew focused on helping guests enjoy the fishery and catch multiple species. Target fish include chinook and coho salmon, steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout, with seasonal opportunities varying throughout the year.

Trips begin with a 25-to-45-minute ride to the fishing grounds, where the captain and mate set rods at different depths and use varied techniques. After returning to the dock, the crew cleans, bags, and ices the catch. The 36-foot Tiara Open accommodates up to six guests plus crew and features fishing tackle, navigation and fish-finding electronics, safety equipment, and a private bathroom.

Charter options range from five to nine hours, with custom trips available. Guests should bring a Michigan All Species Fishing License if aged 17 or older, weather-appropriate clothing, food and drinks in non-glass containers, and a cooler for transporting fish. Sea Flea Charters also highlights trusted fishing brands and equipment.
