Seahorse Savvy

Seahorse Savvy is a premier seahorse farm located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, established in 2014 by biologist Alyssa Gabriel. Our mission is to produce the highest quality captive-bred seahorses, catering to hobbyists, public aquariums, and wholesale distribution across the United States. We utilize genetically diverse breeding stock to ensure healthy and vibrant animals, all grown in state-of-the-art rearing systems that prioritize water quality and environmental health.

In addition to seahorses, we offer an extensive range of marine life, including various saltwater fish species, invertebrates, and corals, all selected for compatibility with seahorses. Our commitment to sustainability means our seahorses provide a responsible alternative to wild-caught specimens, contributing to the conservation of natural populations. Each seahorse is trained to consume frozen Mysis shrimp, simplifying care for aquarists.

At Seahorse Savvy, we're dedicated to providing exceptional animals and support for both novice and experienced aquarists. Contact us to discover how we can enhance your aquatic experience!
