About SEAL
SEAL is an encrypted file-sharing service from SEAL Inc. that helps people and AI agents send files, folders, and sensitive information through controlled, expiring links. Users can drag and drop files in a browser without signing up or creating an account. Files are encrypted on the sending device with AES-256-GCM before upload, so the server stores ciphertext rather than readable contents. Senders can set passwords, download limits, or expiry times, require an NDA before access, and revoke a link; revocation deletes the stored ciphertext.
SEAL also supports exchanges between people and AI agents, including large files, keys, and folders, without pasting secret values into chat. Links can be addressed to a specific agent. The service offers browser access, a command-line interface for macOS, Linux, headless servers, and CI, plus integrations and tools for Telegram, Slack, MCP, and SDKs. Its security features include signed access logs, exportable as JSONL, and cryptographic options for addressed links. Documentation, guides, an HTTP API, and company and legal information are available through the SEAL website.
