About SeasonTours
Season Tours is a tour company founded in 2010 by two experienced guides, Gunnar Þór Gunnarsson (Gunnsi) and Tyrfingur Tyrfingsson (Tyffi). With a passion for sharing the beauty of Iceland, Gunnsi and Tyffi met while studying to become guides at the University of Iceland. Before establishing Season Tours, Tyffi owned a store and was a former chef and founder of the renowned Humarhúsið restaurant.
Gunnsi, on the other hand, is an electronic engineer from Odense, Denmark, with a background in software service and development. Season Tours specializes in small groups and personalized services, ensuring top-notch quality and attention to detail. Their knowledgeable guides, who were educated at the University of Iceland, not only showcase the breathtaking nature of Iceland but also provide insights into Viking history, Icelandic sagas, folklore, geology, culture, cuisine, flora, and fauna.
