Seaspiracy

The Seaspiracy Foundation is an Australian registered charity and global movement focused on protecting the ocean, defending marine life, and advancing ocean conservation. Established after the 2021 Netflix documentary Seaspiracy, the Foundation turns the film’s revelations into ongoing campaigns and public education. It works with ocean activists, NGOs, scientists, and supporters to investigate urgent issues and encourage policy change.

Its live Campaign Chart maps efforts around the world, including campaigns addressing whaling, deep-sea mining, fishing subsidies, and other threats to marine ecosystems. Visitors can explore campaign updates and take action, often by sending pre-written emails to decision-makers. The Foundation also shares educational stories through social media and The Seaspiracy Observer newsletter, which offers paid memberships with behind-the-scenes updates, members-only Q&As, and votes on future investigations and campaigns.
